Pepper has a high drive, intense personality.  She is very friendly and will try to get attention from almost anyone.  She definitely seeks out her own comforts.  As a pup she was somewhat independent, confident and full of herself.  She has matured into a good working, obedient partner and does not like to be in trouble (unless you don't catch her at it!).  Pepper is easy to live with but does have a more energetic personality when she thinks something might be going on.  She is very athletic, fast and always enthusiastic to work anything, anytime.  Pepper is a dominate bitch with other females and likes to let them know she's going to be the head bitch.  She knows I don't like it so she keeps it under wraps pretty well.

Pepper turned on to stock early on and was easy to start.  She has nice, natural gathers and is always working to keep her group together.  She is very honest and trustworthy with stock.  With more experiences, Pepper has been gaining confidence on cattle and is showing quite a bit of grit.  She will hit heads and heel when needed, but does prefer the heads.  Pepper is sharp, learns easily and retains what she learned.  She is a fun dog to work with, she is a fun dog to have around.
